After his World Cup experience Leo Messi is heading back to Barcelona, so adidas thought they’d celebrate by bringing him to his football playing home early, in the form a hologram running through the streets in the Spanish city, based around projection mapping technology.
As their music supervision team, we bagged an unreleased tune for the much anticipated upcoming Rustie album, ‘Green Language’ (out via Warp Records on August 26), entitled ‘Velcro’.
The music press has gone wild for the track, too. So far Consequence of Sound, Pigeons and Planes, Stereogum, Hypetrack, Mass Appeal and Run The Trap have all covered it as a news story, with Pitchfork calling it a “match made in heaven”.
