Why should I use the music hub?
Our content is cherry picked from some of the world’s best indie labels, producers and composers. You won’t find this content anywhere else on such an accessible rate card. Licensing is instant, secure and all tracks are guaranteed sample free.
What kind of production can I use tracks for?
Music can be used for all production purposes and all media – from television, to online, mobile, PR, live events and retail. For a full list of media usage please check out the rate card.
I cannot find the right genre on the search criteria?
If the genre is not listed try using keywords. We have asked all composers to provide a short description of their songs as well as a comparison to an existing song/band/musician. If this all does not help please contact us via the help function and we’ll make sure to get you the right tracks!
How do I personalize my profile?
Go to my Hub and browse through the various personalization options. You can build and manage playlists, view your recent/licensed tracks as well as check out a list of tracks we would recommend you to listen to.
How does licensing work?
Once you have made a selection simply follow the instruction provided. You will need to fill in a very simple download form detailing exact use of the track and billing details. Once this has been submitted you will be able to download the track straight off the site. We will then contact you to confirm track use and issue invoice.
How much will it cost me to license tracks?

Which formats are the tracks supplied in?
Tracks can be downloaded either in 128kbps or 320kbps MP3 format, however if you need a wav / aiff just contact us and we will supply it.

There is a wide range of high spec artists music on the hub including The Rapture, LCD Soundsystem, fourtet etc. However besides the Music Hub Record Play operates a music consultancy that sources from major labels and publishers. The music hub hosts music from indie labels, unsigned artists and producers, making their tracks available for a very affordable license fee. Licensing from major labels, bespoke sound engineering and soundtrack supervision is more complex and requires considerable negotiations with rights holders and artists.
