Welcome to the 7th exposure, this week we showcase a band (siblings) who are being hailed by some as the American version of the Pogues...
Its Americana, its blues, its dirty, gritty and soulful, its the Felice Brothers.
This track is taken from their second and self titled album, full of songs that give a real taste of being young, broke and American. Their sound seems to be inspired by the great artists of the Americana-folk tradition, yet their approach is original and fresh.
Check out 'Frankies Gun', a story song littered with guitar hooks, ambient accordions and a shouty call - response chorus.

"Describing the Felice Brothers' second (self titled) UK release is like writing a recipe for perfect Americana. Barnstorming and brilliant!"
