Baltimore/ Gold Coast (aus) duo Johnnyy Siera and Beau Velasco are the Death Set. Purveyors of electro punk hook laden bursts of musical fun. Their sound is comprised of synch, drum machines, guitars and overblown mics and up until april this year they had 2 e.p's to their name, one released on Rabbit Foot and the other on Morphius.
Skip forward to spring 08 and the lads have finished their debut album titled Worldwide, which is 25 minutes long and made up of 18 high energy, relentless tracks, released on Ninjatune imprint Counter Records.
This track here, titled Around the World is from their latest EP also released on Counter and showcases their frenzied energy, punk influences mixed with distinctive hip hop and lo-fi electronica
