Slow Club is the name of a two-piece folk-pop band from Sheffield, England. The band formed in 2006, after the break-up of Sheffield band Lonely Hearts, half of which went on to form the electro influenced Run Hide Survive, the remainder forming Slow Club.

So, the duet is made up of Charles (vocals, guitar) and Rebecca (vocals, guitar, percussion) who are now really beginning to make things happen, specially since Moshi Moshi released their first EP (sept 08), they have even had a track used on a biscuit ad and toured with Tiny Dancers as well as labelmates Tilly and the Wall.

Often found to be employing random objects in their percussion (bottles, a chair etc), Slow Club are a band producing music that is unpretentious, uplifting and fun. We have dropped their christmas single here... don't be scared, its not that christmassy and it even gets quite loud at the end!
