Well, heres something really good. Plugs, its a three piece from st. Albans (where, incidentally, their label mates Friendly Fires also come from).
Fronted by Morgan Quaintance (Test Icicles and Does it Offend You, Yeah?), alongside local lads Dave Chin and Boomer Opperman, Plugs have spent the last year producing and recording and are about to release a full album to follow up last years EP.
The result, they say, is a 'three headed, post rave afro influenced groove monster'... Yikes, well dont be put off by that, its really excellent stuff, you can hear for yourself below in 'That Number', which has just been released by mini indie People In the Sky.
Think bleeps, electronics, angular guitar and tight vocals. Oh yeah, they are playing live at the Proud Galleries on friday the 17th. Nov.
