Yet another Brooklyn artist featured on exposure, this is getting predicable, but we cant resist, last one, promise.
Anyway, this is Ivana XL, a young New Yorker, brought up by her mother on the road. During her travels she was exposed to much music and a diversity of cultural influences that clearly left their mark. Over the past year or so there has been an escalating amount of blog buzz and the release of a much praised EP.
We are posting a track here called Sweetie Pie which features her bluesy spartan and husky voice over straight blues folk guitar. Its moving and emotional. Its a beautiful track, she is destined for big things, bet you.

Resembles a mixture of Regina Spektor, Cat Power and a gypsy artist - "the Blue Walrus"
