Lo-fi, considered and mostly solo, Canadian Michael O'Connell is Culture Reject. His voice is stripped back, soulful and strong, his lyrics are thoughtful and provocative.
This track, 'inside the cinema', is an excellent example of what makes Culture Reject, its infectious and makes us want more, watch the video to see how he has looped vocals to create the rhythm - Exclaim (canadian music site) claim this as one of the Canadian Singles of the year and thats high praise indeed when considering the competition.
Anyway enough sycophancy, he's a good musician, this is a good track, that ticks the exposure boxes, listen to it....
