Everyone else does it, so why not us? So, heres our biased list of the top albums of the year, the criteria being that we really like them.  Fair enough, its out opinion piece after all!  Anyway, without further ado, here’s what we reckon you shouldn’t have missed, and if you did, its not too late to complement your collection, indeed, we’ll even help you, there is a link to download a zip file with a track from each artist.

King Creosote.  Big talent, scottish songwriting folk genius.  From Fife.

Florence and the Machine.  A huge year, a major signing, a mercury nomination.  Dont mess.

The Very Best. Putting Londons grotty Clapton on the map, africa meets electro.  Collaborators met in a bike shop

Fever Ray. Singer from the Knife, twisted and dark, late release but momentum building for ‘10.  Some voice.
