6th March 2009 - Based on our experiences with the programme so far we have decided not to give the whole award to just one band.
Instead we are going to support new bands we like who we feel could use help in certain areas. Send in demos!

Headline: WHATS BEEN HAPPENING?
Its been a while since our last update, so a few things to tell you to bring you up to speed:
1. super luckies photo shoot. So, the winners had their photoshoot thanks to Andre Penteado, image below. Nice.
2. award funding, the band received their cash which they have been using for recording purposes.
3. band re-formation, a few of the band members have left, and have been replaced by some other, so its still all go.

Headline: BIG HAND FOR....
After a long session running through all the entries we received to for applicants to the Record Play Artist Development Programme we are really happy to announce that we will be supporting London 4 piece the SUPER LUCKIES.
Thanks you to all bands for sending your demos, there was an excellent selection and it was a tough call....
So, now that we’ve chosen the band its time to start supporting them. We will be posting their press shots, video, music and other media here as we help provide them the services. However, in the meantime, they will be performing live on 16.10 at 93 Feat East, supported by Gipsydelica.

Headline: Tom McKean and the Emperors
In our last post we mentioned that the first band to receive support from the programme will be a new band called Tom McKean and the Emperors.
Over the coming months The Emperors will be recording 2 tracks down at Sarm Studios and having the photo shoot. We will be posting updates on their progress and you'll be able to check out the rssults on this site.

Much to our delight, today we launched the Artist Development Programme website and we are looking forward to receiving the first entries!
